We are looking for a senior project economist for an organization in the energy sector that is undergoing a significant investment and expansion phase. You will support project managers and lead project managers in financial matters related to complex infrastructure and construction projects, often with large budgets and multiple collaborative contracting forms.

The assignment involves close collaboration with project management and expert functions and places high demands on analytical ability, structure, and understanding of governance and follow-up in public project environments.

• Support project managers and lead project managers in financial issues within projects and programs.
• Develop and further enhance forecasts, calculations, analyses, and financial investigations.
• Work with financial planning and follow-up in construction projects.
• Handle accounting-related issues related to the projects' finances.
• Analyze and follow up on reasons for deviations from forecasts and annual plans together with project management.

• Senior experience as a project economist in project and/or program environments.
• Experience in forecasting, calculation, as well as financial analysis and follow-up in projects.
• Experience in financial planning and follow-up in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of accounting issues related to projects.
• High analytical ability and a structured working method.
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security review (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted)

• Experience working in publicly governed projects.
• Experience working closely with project managers and lead project managers in large, complex investment programs.
• Experience from projects with different contracting forms (execution contract, total contract, or collaboration).
