We are looking for a new coach for the Employment Unit in Upplands Väsby Municipality!

About us

At the Employment Unit, 20 people work in different workgroups and initiatives. We work both on behalf of social assistance and directly from our main participants. We offer support and guidance both individually and in groups. You will be part of our employment group with eight colleagues who work with participants aged 16-66 years.

About the position

As a coach in the employment unit, you will support individuals both individually and in groups. You will have close contact with participants who need support while being in a context with colleagues who are working towards the same goals. The assignment includes planning, implementing, and following up on initiatives together with participants. The position also includes documenting and administering in our operational systems.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree of at least 3 years that the employer deems appropriate.
• Experience in employment work.
• A good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing.
• Experience in leading activities for larger and smaller groups.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have a B driver's license.
• Have experience working with employers.
• Have experience working in social services.
• Can speak more languages than Swedish and English.
• Have training/experience in Motivational Interviewing, Supported Employment, and Supported Education.
• Have experience from work with OSA (Publicly Protected Work).
• Have worked with participants who have NPF diagnoses and/or mental health issues.

As a person, you are structured in that you can independently plan and organize your work. Furthermore, you are secure and relationship-building, which for us means that you are open and humble regarding the participants' life situations. We also believe that you need to be creative to fit in the role, contributing to both the development of the business and being able to adapt your work individually based on the participants' needs.
