Project Manager for Health Promotion Work with Children and Youth

About the Workplace

The children and youth services within LSS are starting a two-year outcome-based development project aimed at improving the health of children and youth within LSS in Helsingborg. This project is being carried out in collaboration with PART.

Job Responsibilities

Children and youth within LSS often have poorer physical, mental, and social health than others. The purpose of the project is to strengthen their opportunities to participate in health-promoting activities and create better, long-term conditions for good health.

In the role of project manager, you will be a driving and engaging force in the work to improve the health of children and youth within LSS in Helsingborg. Your focus will be on creating engagement, building relationships, and turning ideas into practical activities.

You will work closely with children and youth with disabilities, their guardians, as well as staff within LSS and other relevant services. An important part of the role is to reach out to the target group in an inclusive and accessible way and to contribute to increased participation.

Qualifications

For the role, you need to be a support pedagogue or have another relevant university education in the field.

You have knowledge of health and health-promoting work, can motivate others, and drive issues and activities forward. Furthermore, you are great at building trust with both staff and guardians and are inspiring by contributing energy and ideas.

We would like you to have experience in leading projects, but it is not a requirement. You will have close support in project management, structure, and follow-up, allowing you to focus on content, collaboration, and implementation.
