I am looking for a committed and responsible person who wants to become an important part of my assistance team!

I am an active 26-year-old woman with a muscle disease (Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 3). I have no cognitive difficulties and live an independent life with my fiancé in central Stockholm.

The work involves supporting me in daily life

The work involves supporting me in daily life - both at home, at work, and during leisure activities such as travel and social events. As my assistant, you will be an enabler and not a caregiver. You help ensure that daily life runs smoothly while contributing to a safe and pleasant environment.

About the role:

This is not a traditional assistant job where you just follow a list of tasks. It is a role where you become a natural part of daily life and a partner in making everything work.

You will:

• Support with daily routines such as personal care, dressing, and household chores
• Assist with work and other activities outside the home
• Handle practical tasks such as transfers, simple cooking, and household administration
• Be adaptable in a daily routine that is sometimes calm, sometimes eventful
• Help with simple hair styling (e.g., curling hair)
• Be involved in travel or spontaneous activities

I am looking for someone who:

• The most important thing for me is not experience or qualifications. The most important thing for me is who you are as a person and that you have your heart in the right place!
• Is self-sufficient and meticulous but attentive - you take your own initiative and responsibility but ask when you are unsure
• Has a sense of when to stay in the background and when to act
• Can handle the transition between calm and more intense days
• Is meticulous, flexible, and has a positive attitude towards life
• Is a team player who steps up when needed and contributes to a safe and pleasant work environment

Requirements for the position:

• Female, approximately 20–40 years old
• Strong Swedish language skills
• Good physical strength, as manual transfers are carried out with well-developed transfer techniques
• Flexible and available, preferably someone who can step in extra when needed
• Interest in hair care and styling, as you will help me with simple everyday styles like curling hair
• Not afraid of dogs, as I sometimes dog-sit a little sweetheart
• Experience as a personal assistant is a plus but not a requirement

About the position:

Working hours: approximately 50% with the possibility of extra work

Start date: immediately

Working hours: Mixed day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend:

• Monday–Thursday: 07:00–15:00 / 15:00–00:00
• Friday: 08:00–17:00 / 17:00–02:00
• Saturday: 09:00–18:00 / 18:00–02:00
• Sunday: 09:00–18:00 / 18:00–00:00

Times can be discussed if needed.
