Deputy HR Manager at the Swedish Armed Forces
Do you want to take the next step in your career focused on personnel issues? We are now looking for an officer seeking a varied role as a Deputy HR Manager. As the Deputy HR Manager, you will support the unit's HR Manager.
About the Unit
As the Deputy HR Manager, you will be placed at A1, which is part of the wing staff. A1 consists of 28 employees, and the department's work area includes strategic and operational personnel services. We work with staffing, salary formation, personnel supply, recruitment, work environment, rehabilitation, personnel development, and wellness.
The wing staff is the resource of the unit commander to solve the tasks of the wing and constitutes the command organization. The unit consists of approximately 100 employees and is responsible for coordinating and leading the tasks of the wing.
Main Responsibilities
As the Deputy HR Manager, you will provide complementary support to the HR Manager in all areas of HR at the unit level. This includes both daily operational issues and the strategic long-term perspective.
There is a strong focus on supporting the HR Manager in collaboration with employee organizations.
Over time, the position may be adjusted based on your skills and willingness to take on increased responsibilities in certain areas.

Qualifications
- Officer's degree
- Completed HSOU
- Driving license B for manual transmission
- Swedish citizenship

Meritorious Qualifications
- Good knowledge of English, spoken and written
- Experience working with SAP systems
- Academic degree in HR or equivalent
- Experience working with HR within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Experience in change management
- Experience in a managerial role
Other
Employment type: Permanent. The position starts with a six-month probationary period for those who are not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces.
Employment rate: Full-time
Work location: Såtenäs.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement
The position requires physical capability, travel obligations, international service obligations, and participation in training and exercises in the war organization.

Skaraborg Air Wing is a versatile and unique air wing. Here you will find combat aircraft as well as the Swedish Armed Forces' collective resources for transport and special aviation. We conduct basic and position training for conscripted recruits and train all Swedish and foreign Gripen pilots. The unit also participates in many missions. In Sweden, operations are located in Såtenäs, Malmen, Arlanda, and Karlsborg. Abroad, we are responsible for Gripen support in Thailand and for Swedish personnel at the international transport aviation cooperation Heavy Airlift Wing in Hungary.
