We are seeking two committed and responsive youth treatment field secretaries to work with children and adolescents in Nynäshamn municipality. Job Responsibilities

We offer you an exciting job where you can help drive the department's development! We are open to change and want to continue developing our methods and working practices based on the transition to the new social services act, with children and youth in focus.

We offer two permanent positions:

• Position 1: Start date March 1
• Position 2: Start date June 1

You will be a secure and present support in the individual's daily life, in both good and challenging times. Through motivational work, you contribute to school attendance, employment, and meaningful leisure time, and help create structure and functioning routines.

The assignment also includes practical support based on individual needs, such as in contacts with authorities, schools, or healthcare. You work to build relationships to strengthen the individual's participation in society, prevent risk behaviors, and encourage healthy choices. The work is done in collaboration with relevant actors, and documentation is carried out according to applicable regulations.

Your main job responsibilities include:

• establishing and maintaining contact with children and youth at risk
• participating in and organizing activities that promote safety and development
• collaborating with youth leisure services, schools, police, and non-profit organizations
• preventing and managing conflicts, as well as supporting youth in their everyday challenges
• documenting and reporting according to applicable guidelines and legislation
• working with RePULSE.

The position involves scheduled work, including evenings and weekends.

About the workplace

The main mission of the Social Administration is to offer individualized support and services in elderly care, disability services, children and family, adults, and financial assistance. We are present for the residents of the municipality throughout all stages of life.

On July 1, 2025, the new social services act came into force, which means that the work of social services needs to be adapted and developed. The Social Administration in Nynäshamn municipality is actively working to ensure that we have the right functions and competencies to provide high-quality support. The support should be based on the individual's needs and grounded in evidence and proven knowledge, in accordance with the intentions of the law.

Promotional, preventive, and outpatient interventions are now gathered under a common organizational unit, the department for social support. The position of field assistant is placed within the outpatient unit. Our goal is to strengthen the promotional and preventive measures now that the new law is in place.

What we are looking for in you

To succeed in this role, you have:

• a degree in social work or another academic education deemed equivalent by the employer
• experience working with children and adolescents
• good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written
• good computer skills
• a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• training and experience working with MI, RePULSE, FFT, or similar methods
• training and experience working with Yam (Youth aware of Mental health).
