Villa Solvi Preschool is an independent preschool with 40 children aged 1–5 years. The operations are conducted in a turn-of-the-century villa with a hilly and green garden that offers rich opportunities for play, exploration, and learning. We are a smaller operation with clear leadership, structure, and high ambitions regarding quality, safety, and collaboration.

We are now looking for a childcare worker for a parental leave position for approximately 16 months, starting in mid-March 2026.

About the role

You will work in a group of children and be part of a team that collectively is responsible for the children's care, safety, and learning. Placement in age groups is based on the needs of the operation and consideration of the applicant's skills and experience.

You will participate in the pedagogical development work and in the pedagogical documentation.

Villa Solvi has an artistic focus, where music, movement, art, and creativity are a natural and joyful part of everyday life.

We are looking for someone who:

• has documented experience working as a childcare worker in preschool and is comfortable in the everyday routines of preschool

• can quickly familiarize yourself with the operation and take responsibility in the child group

• meets children with respect, attentiveness, and curiosity

• creates security through structure, preparation, and guiding interaction

• has the ability to see and highlight the positive aspects of each child

• is responsible, engaged, and professional in your role

• has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive work environment

• can work independently but also take shared responsibility within the team

• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• experience in pedagogical documentation

• experience in development discussions
