Who am I?

I am a happy 13-year-old girl looking for a new star assistant. We live in Stockholm, in the southern suburbs close to public transport, making it easy to get around! I am a positive and cheerful girl with a congenital brain injury. I really enjoy music, swimming, jumping, and playing on the seesaw. I love counting to ten and playing around with everyone around me!

What can you do for me?

In my daily life, I need a lot of help and support with most situations such as dressing and undressing, meals, toilet visits, and medication. At times, I have severe epilepsy and require some respiratory assistance at night, so it is important that you are attentive, responsible, and careful, as well as observant of seizures when I need help. I do not have a spoken language, but I communicate all the time, and if you are a perceptive person with a bit of patience, you will understand me just fine! I use a wheelchair for mobility. During the day, I am at school, which is a place I really like.

Who are you?

You are an empathetic, loyal, cheerful, and warm person who is engaged in your work as a personal assistant. We believe your personality and qualities are incredibly important and hope that you will thrive in our little family. Good physical condition is beneficial as there will be some lifting involved in the job. If you have previous experience and knowledge about epilepsy and what it entails, that is a plus, but not a requirement. However, it is a must that you do not smoke.

• Immediate start.
• Part-time.
• Working hours are scheduled between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM on weekdays and weekends. You will accompany me in the taxi to school where you will finish your work shift.
