Who is Familjen?

Familjen is a safe and committed employer with over fifteen years of experience in personal assistance for children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities. We work person-centered, which means that every individual – whether you are an assistant, relative, or receiving assistance – should feel seen, respected, and acknowledged in our operations.

We are named Familjen for a simple reason: we believe that personal assistance works best when it is based on trust, safety, and close collaboration. For us, assistance is not just about schedules, hours, and administration – but about people, relationships, and a daily life that should function.

The name Familjen represents our desire to create an organization where both clients, relatives, and assistants feel respected, included, and cared for. We work with personal commitment and a clear goal: to build stable workgroups, long-term relationships, and assistance where the individual is always at the center.

We also collaborate with our own employers in personal assistance and offer effective payroll solutions that simplify work and create more time for what is important.

We operate and have assistance groups throughout Sweden, from north to south, but our office is located in Täby, a suburb just outside Stockholm.

An extra strength

The company's founder and owner has worked as a personal assistant himself. This gives us an extra understanding of the profession and the everyday life of assistance – and is an important strength in our work to create stable workgroups and deliver person-centered assistance of high quality.

About the position

We are now looking for personal assistants for a woman living in Södermalm, Stockholm.

"I live an active and social life, enjoy being out among people and trying new things. I have a large social circle that is important to me, and therefore I am looking for assistants who thrive in a lively everyday life. I am more than happy to take walks, and it is important to me that we have a personal chemistry that clicks!"

"I am looking for a woman who has a sense of humor, is social, and enjoys laughing. You need to be attentive and able to adapt to my everyday life and needs."

"I have a congenital CP disability, which means that you as an assistant function as my arms, legs, and voice. I have personal assistance around the clock, divided into three shifts."

Initially, you will work day shifts just to get to know each other better; the shifts are 6 hours long from 09:00 to 15:15. Currently, we are looking for someone who wants to work extra on an hourly basis or in a permanent position up to about 50%, with the possibility to discuss the extent.

Due to the nature of the tasks and the need for regular and clear communication in everyday life, it is a requirement that you can speak, understand, and read Swedish fluently.
