I am a girl who is almost three and a half years old looking for a personal assistant who can work with me part-time. I live with my family, which consists of my mom, dad, and an older sister, in a townhouse in western Bällsta in Vallentuna near public transport. There is also the possibility of free parking if you drive.

I am like most children, but I have a tracheostomy due to swallowing difficulties. I breathe on my own but need constant monitoring and help with suctioning saliva. I also have a PEG directly connected to my stomach as I receive nutrition through a tube.

Who are you? You do not need to have any experience working with tracheostomy or PEG as you will receive training at Karolinska/LIVA before you start working fully with me, and you will also shadow my mom at home to get to know me.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Good Swedish in speech and writing as you need to communicate with both my preschool staff and family
• You must be able to present a valid criminal record from the Police for “Work with children with disabilities” that is no more than a year old since I am under 18. If you do not have a valid extract, we encourage you to order it in connection with your application. The extract can be ordered digitally to KIVRA, which means you can receive it the same day you order it

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of TAKK sign language or are willing to learn it

We are now looking for an assistant who can work part-time at about 56% during both day and evening shifts during weekdays to begin with. Additionally, you may also work at night if you are interested after possible introduction, as well as weekend work. For the right person, there are also good opportunities to expand the position in the future, as well as to fill in as needed.

Working hours may be as follows:
Even weeks

• Monday 07:00-20:30
• Tuesday 07:00-20:00
• Wednesday 07:00-16:00

Odd weeks

• Monday 16:00-20:30
• Tuesday 16:00-20:30

During the day shift, you will work with a colleague and accompany me to preschool. During all my waking hours, I have double assistance, even at preschool. You will work with an experienced assistant during all my waking hours.
