Curator at Habilitation Center Stockholm Adults
– Make a difference in people's everyday lives
Do you want to work in a team where commitment, knowledge, and collaboration are at the center? With us at Habilitation Center Stockholm Adults, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving the quality of life and daily conditions for adults with disabilities.
About us
Habilitation Center Stockholm Adults is a specialist outpatient clinic within Habilitation & Health. We provide support to individuals over 18 years old with congenital or early-onset disabilities that affect their daily lives – such as autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mobility impairments.
With us, you will meet an engaged and knowledgeable team that is passionate about their work. We have an open atmosphere, generously share our knowledge, and value a work environment where both laughter and reflection have a place. We believe in the importance of balancing work and private life – it contributes to long-term sustainability for both ourselves and our patients.
About the position
As a curator in our If/Rn team (intellectual disabilities/mobility impairments), you will provide support to individuals with complex needs and their relatives. Your tasks will include:
- Providing counseling and advice on issues related to life situations, relationships, stress, and mental health related to disabilities.
- Helping to navigate societal support services (e.g., LSS, Social Insurance Agency, municipal support forms).
- Working with motivational and guiding conversations about participation, work, studies, and housing.
- Supporting relatives and collaborating with other actors such as healthcare neighbors, municipalities, and authorities.
You will work closely with the patient and their network, collaborating both within the team and with external networks. Our patients often have needs that require coordinated and individually tailored interventions, making the work varied, challenging, and meaningful.
With us, you will receive collegial support, supervision, and opportunities for development – both in your professional role and in the team's collective work.
About you
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and preferably experience in habilitation or working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mobility impairments.
You have a genuine interest in people with disabilities and in creating conditions for participation and quality of life. You thrive in a role that requires flexibility, teamwork, and a respectful approach to differences.
As a person, you are committed, independent, and structured, but also attentive and confident in teamwork. You contribute your knowledge while being curious to learn from other professional groups. Personal suitability is highly valued.
With us, you will receive
- A good introduction to your work
- A warm and competent work community in a multidisciplinary team
- Collegial and external supervision
- Professional development through our internal staff training
- Free healthcare
- Wellness allowance and wellness during work hours
- Flexible working hours
