JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for summer and hourly substitutes for elderly care and care for people with disabilities in Ljungby municipality!
With us, you will have a free and varied job where you support people in their daily lives and contribute to a meaningful everyday life.
Care for People with Disabilities
Within the care for people with disabilities, there are different types of operations. There are LSS housing/Psychiatric housing, personal assistance, daily activities, and youth/adult short-term care. Below, the different operations are described.
- LSS Housing/Psychiatric Housing: Housing for people with different conditions and varying needs for support in daily life and at home. This may involve support in various activities, medical visits, etc.
- Personal Assistance: You work together with care recipients in their homes, and their needs determine your tasks. For example, you can support daily activities such as accompanying them to day activities, cinema, doctor, or other activities.
- Daily Activities: Employment, work training, and internships for people with varying needs for support. As staff, you support and encourage a meaningful everyday life.
- Youth Short-term Care/Recreation: For children under 18 years means that you work with children and adolescents who have different conditions and varying needs for support. You can support daily activities, plan and accompany various outings, craft, play, provide care, etc.
- Adult Short-term Care: For individuals over 18 years for short-term stays, short-term supervision, and respite care. Adult short-term care is staffed based on the needs of the users.
Elderly Care
Elderly care includes home care and special housing. Below, the different operations are described.
- Home Care: Helps care recipients in their homes to facilitate their daily lives. In many cases, this is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes. Home care is available throughout the municipality.
- Special Housing: Involves helping and supporting residents with tasks they cannot manage on their own, such as personal care and social activities. We have special housing for the elderly in Lidhult, Lagan, and Ljungby.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in people, who is responsible and has good collaboration skills. Experience in care is an advantage but not a requirement. For most positions, you must be at least 18 years old. A limited number of positions are available in elderly care for those who are 17 years old.
