We are looking for a Child Health Care Nurse (BHV-nurse) to join our team. Herkules Health Center is one of the largest health centers in Borås with approximately 14,000 registered patients. We are a fully staffed workplace with over 55 employees and are located in modern, adapted premises in the center of Borås.

We strive to be at the forefront of the development of primary care in Västra Götaland.

Job Responsibilities

The mission of child health care is regulated by the National Handbook and central child health care. The work in child health care involves independent work at the BVC with vaccination clinics, home visits, telephone counseling, leading parent groups, and collaborating with other stakeholders at the Family Center in Borås City. As a BHV-nurse with us, you will have varied tasks, friendly colleagues, participate in regular professional meetings, and have great opportunities to develop the BVC operations.

Qualifications

You who are applying have specialist training as a pediatric nurse/district nurse with several years of experience and are confident in both person and profession as well as having a patient-focused working method. We would like you to have experience in BVC and teamwork and be comfortable using a computer as a working tool. A driver's license (B) is a requirement as home visits are a large part of the work.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and ability to collaborate.

The ability to understand others' situations and show genuine care is crucial when working with children and their parents. You are satisfied with both administrative and practical tasks. You are meticulous in your work, have the ability to be flexible, and can adjust your pace and working methods according to what each situation requires. As a person, you are clear and trustworthy and have a good ability to structure and prioritize.

Additional Information

We are primarily looking for someone who wants to work 80%.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
