Welcome to Närhälsan Sylte Health Center.

Here, 21 dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We currently have 5700 registered individuals of different ages with us, and together we work to meet our patients' needs in the best possible way. In addition to the Youth Mental Health Unit (UPH) and the usual health center services, we also offer doctor consultations, nurse-led specialist clinics, and child health care (BVC).

About the Job

Your duties at the health center mainly consist of making assessments and conducting short therapy treatments for children and adolescents with mental health issues. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as a psychotherapist include anxiety, depression, stress-related illnesses, severe crises, pain issues, and PTSD. You will also work with internet-based therapy and psychological group treatment.

We work according to Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), where the work includes teamwork (collaboration with other professionals) both within the unit and with external healthcare partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the health center manager for the development of the clinic in a continuously ongoing improvement process.

About You

You who are applying are a licensed psychotherapist with a CBT focus and at least one year of clinical experience working with children and youth. Previous experience in primary care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and feels comfortable making independent assessments. We would like you to take an active role in our development work with integrated behavioral health, be interested in quality work, and have an interest in conveying knowledge and information about mental health to your colleagues. To thrive in this role, you need to be flexible, have good collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently. Acting professionally and having a good attitude towards patients and colleagues is a given. We also expect you to embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
