About the Organization

Welcome to the Personality Disorder Clinic!

The Personality Disorder Clinic is a specialized clinic aimed at patients with personality disorders.

It is a large clinic where we work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of psychologists, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and doctors. There are excellent opportunities for professional exchange and participation in development work.

We are now looking for a psychologist to join the clinic's treatment team for Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), which provides psychological treatment in groups and individually for patients with personality disorders.

You will be part of a team with a strong commitment to patients, psychological treatment, and development work.

We are tasked with developing care for this patient group and continuously work to renew and improve our methods and collaboration. We strive to create a workplace characterized by high professionalism and an open climate, with dialogue between different perspectives and a clear connection to the university and research.

As one of the psychologists in the Psychiatry Affectiva team, you will be part of an organization where development work and continuing education are seen as important for a good work environment. We are a large clinic with good opportunities for collegial exchange.

Job Responsibilities

The position is located in one of our base teams as well as in the clinic's team for Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT). The MBT team conducts psychodynamic treatment in both group and individual formats for patients with personality disorders.

Since many of our treatments occur in groups, you are expected to be comfortable and confident in this format and able to lead groups independently. You have a strong interest in personality psychology, mentalization, and psychodynamic theory, and keep yourself updated with developments in psychotherapeutic research.

In addition to treatment work, you will also conduct personality assessments and initial visit evaluations.

About You

We are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to work with MBT, is engaged in the method, and has a drive to update and learn new things.

Qualifications include training in Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) and other psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as good familiarity with psychodynamic theory and diagnostics. We also prefer candidates with experience in group therapy and who enjoy working in this format. Previous experience in psychiatric outpatient care is also an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. As a person, it is important that you have a genuine interest in human interactions and that you are goal-oriented and flexible in your work.
