About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Sjöbo Health Center.

Here, 22 dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We have nearly 5,700 registered patients of different ages, and together we work to meet our patients' needs in the best possible way. Good patient interaction, high availability, and professionalism are natural in our daily work. In addition to regular health center services, we also have a family center that collaborates closely with the BVC.

We are located in the northeastern part of Borås, about 2 km from the city center, with frequent bus services from Borås center taking about 10 minutes.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center cover a wide range of responsibilities and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervising ST and AT/BT doctors as well as medical students, which is an important part of our mission to train tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example, through continuous education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine and have the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the organization. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good demeanor. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work. We also see that you embody Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
