Are you interested in a flexible job where you can combine an independent working style while being part of a cross-professional care team? We are now looking for a nurse for municipal primary care, care and nursing home in Örgryte/Härlanda, Kålltorpsgatan.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with our patients in the care and nursing home. We offer you a developing job and close leadership where your manager is in the same office. Your tasks include planning and structuring work towards the individual patient and their relatives. You assess and perform medical treatment and nursing interventions, which you follow up and document according to current legislation and in our quality registers. You primarily work during the day with about 5 evenings a month (including weekend evenings) and every fourth weekend. In the evenings and weekends, we collaborate with colleagues in ordinary housing and functional support.

To gain the competence needed to work in municipal primary care, the City of Gothenburg offers an introductory program for you as a new employee. The introductory program is individual and lasts for about a year. We always appoint a mentor and supervisor who work clinically in our care and nursing homes. The program is designed individually in dialogue between you as a new employee, your unit manager, and mentor.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in the profession is an advantage but not a requirement for the position, so we also welcome you as a newly graduated nurse. Since we work within a large geographical area, a B driver's license is a requirement.

The meeting with the individual and their relatives is an important part of the work, so we want you to have the ability to listen and create an understanding in order to comprehend their needs. For us, it is important that you have the ability to work together with others and create good relationships, which you do by showing respect, consideration, and care. We are based collectively from Härlanda park, where we are divided into two different teams. You always have colleagues as close support in your daily work and in prioritizations. Resource allocation is done collectively before we go out and make our interventions with the patient. Since a large part of the work takes place in the patient's home, it is important that you feel secure in your role as a nurse and can make well-founded decisions. The work requires that you can work independently, overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks based on experience.
