Vocational Teacher in Carpentry

About the Role

Movant is looking for an engaged vocational teacher in carpentry for a labor market education at a correctional facility. Here you get the chance to combine your professional knowledge with a meaningful role as a mentor and educator for adults who want to step into the construction industry.

As a teacher with us, you help participants develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge while expressing your own passion for your profession. You are part of an engaged teaching team where collaboration and joy at work are central.

Your main task is to deliver high-quality education that meets industry demands and expectations. The best of both worlds - you share your knowledge while watching your participants grow and develop!

We are looking for someone who

• Has a vocational certificate in carpentry
• and/or at least five years of professional experience from the last ten years
• Has experience teaching adults
• Has the ability to adapt teaching to each participant's needs
• Has the competence to explain theories and guide practical moments
• Has good computer skills
• Is without a criminal record (a background check is required)

It is meritorious if you hold a teaching license or other pedagogical experience. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Form

Permanent employment with an initial six-month probationary period.
