Arboga municipality is investing in a modern primary school that meets the demands of today and the future. The new school, which is being built next to the current Gäddgård School, will offer home classrooms for all grades, adapted primary education, a full-sized sports hall, and artistic decorations in both indoor and outdoor environments. The new school is expected to be ready for occupancy in the first half of 2026, with the school year starting in the autumn term of the same year.

Job Responsibilities

The work will involve teaching, mentoring, planning, and value-based work according to the curriculum. Working as a teacher is about constantly developing based on the students we meet. It is about capturing students' interests and creating challenging teaching from that. It is also about documenting students' learning to enable their chances of reaching their goals. In addition to pedagogy, we also work on student health to ensure that our students feel good and feel safe at school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in home economics; one of the positions will also involve working at another school in our organization. You are confident in your pedagogical leadership, and all teachers and students in grades 6-9 have access to iPads and Mac computers, so we prefer that you have a strong interest in digital resources as pedagogical tools in teaching. As a person, you build trust, are a role model, and create relationships with students and their guardians. For you, collaboration is a given both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences.
