Your responsibilities

In addition to teaching students in various courses in HVAC technology, heating technology, sanitation technology, energy technology, and welding, you will also mentor students and find APL placements for them. A large network among HVAC companies in Västmanland is advantageous, as each student completes at least 15 weeks of workplace-based learning. One of the most enjoyable parts of the job is your interaction with the students. Every day, you have the opportunity to influence, engage, and motivate our students.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with a vocational teacher's degree or other experience deemed relevant for the position. You have good professional experience and competence in the following subjects: HVAC technology, heating technology, sanitation technology, energy technology, and welding. We prefer that you have teaching experience, but it is not a requirement. The most important thing for us is that you have relevant work experience and a strong interest in working with young people.

You enjoy planning and structuring, but you also adapt easily to changing situations. You care about your mission and can adjust your teaching based on the students' needs. You thrive in collaboration with others and easily build relationships with students and colleagues.

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police's criminal record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
