Strömsholms School is a single-parallel F-6 school located in Hallstahammar municipality. We are a small school with about 115 students. We have an incredibly beautiful schoolyard with lovely nature that invites various alternative play. Within our staff, we have a high density of qualified teachers and a shared drive to continue developing our school. With competence and commitment, we work together to ensure that every student reaches their goals and feels safe and included in school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a driven and committed teacher who wants to help develop the teaching and our pedagogical activities at Strömsholms School. We are curious about your ideas, your contributions, and want to share in your experiences on our journey forward! If you are passionate about stimulating and developing students in a school environment with a strong sense of community, you are warmly welcome to apply! You will be responsible for teaching grades F-3 and work as a class teacher.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching based on the curriculum and syllabus. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual circumstances. In your teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways. You work based on proven experience and research and strive to ensure that students have the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development. You maintain contact and collaborate with guardians and other stakeholders outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved. Together with your team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with authorization to teach grades F-3. Previous experience as a teacher is an advantage. You have a good dialogue with students and guardians to create participation and influence. In this recruitment, we place great importance on your personal qualities: You are a natural leader with good structure in your work. You create lessons with a setup and content that makes students feel both motivation and a desire to learn. Of course, you have a good ability to engage in dialogue and build relationships with students and guardians, and you collaborate smoothly with other staff at the school.
