Nordic Light Nannies is looking for an engaged and reliable nanny who can become a natural extra adult in the family's home and an important support in the daily life with the family's three children. The family is expecting their third child at the end of February 2026. They already have two boys who will turn five in January 2026 and three in February 2026. It is an active and lively family where the children are sporty, mobile, and full of energy, which means that the nanny needs to be equally active, present, and enjoy a fast pace.

The family is looking for a nanny who is responsible, self-driven, and confident in her role. It is important that the nanny speaks Swedish, but it is highly meritorious if she also speaks English, as the parents want the children to learn English early and in a natural way in their daily life.

The family lives in Östermalm, and the job is intended to start at the end of March 2026. The parents primarily pick up the children from preschool themselves, after which the nanny will come home and take over. In some cases, pick-up may occur, but the main wish is that the parents handle the pick-up.

After preschool, the job involves being present with the children through play, crafts, and movement. This may include bathing the children, planning activities during free days, going to the park, or making other outings that suit the children's age and energy. The nanny is expected to sit with the children during meals and be involved in the evening routines, including bedtime. A particularly important part of the role is to meet the oldest boy's great interest in letters, numbers, and learning in a pedagogical and playful way.

The family places great importance on presence and engagement. Part of the task is also to show and actively teach the children to clean up after themselves and take responsibility for their things as a natural part of everyday life.

The working hours are mainly on weekdays, approximately between 3/4 PM to 7 PM, 3 to 4 days a week. In addition, work on a holiday every third week is included, between approximately 10 AM and 3 PM. The family also wishes for flexibility for work during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks, as well as the possibility to travel with the family. The trips can be both within Europe and further afield, such as to Asia or North America, and usually last around 10-14 days.

There is a possibility that the role may also include daytime work with the youngest if the mother returns to work, depending on how the daily life with the third baby develops. The family has an allergy-friendly dog, a Maltese mix, but the nanny is not expected to have any responsibility for the dog.

The position does not include cooking. Simple snacks may occur, but the focus is entirely on the children, their development, safety, and a functioning everyday life. The position suits a person who wants to work closely with an active family, enjoys varying hours and travel, and appreciates being a clear, present, and positive adult in the children's lives.

Salaries are determined individually based on experience and education and are comparable to preschool teacher salaries in Stockholm. Minimum wage is 150 SEK/hour. We can offer higher salaries up to 210 SEK/hour for nannies with extensive experience and/or pedagogical education. Fixed monthly salaries occur in certain positions.
