Social Worker for Young Adults at the Care Unit

Your mission:

As a social worker within the group, we conduct qualified investigations, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to current legislation (SoL, LVU, and LVM) and delegation. We use ASI, Ungdok, and BBIC. In our work, we create good relationships and collaborate with both internal partners and external ones.

The support should be provided in close cooperation with the individual based on trust and respect for people's knowledge, abilities, and willingness to take responsibility for their situation. We offer a wide range of interventions such as supported housing, addiction treatment, qualified contact persons, SIG, and contact persons. The unit continuously captures the target group's need for support and develops new interventions as needed. Quality is monitored and reviewed. With us, competence and organizational development are in focus, and our employees are our most important resource.

Investigation and Follow-up for adults is part of the Care Unit and consists of a group manager, three team leaders, two housing coordinators, 18 social workers, and two senior social workers. Within the young adults group, six social workers and one senior social worker work, and the group is led closely by a team leader. Group manager Åsa Faltin leads the workgroup together with the team leader, focusing on psychological safety and a good work environment. The common mission is to ensure that those we are here for receive the support they need and that our working methods maintain a high quality. We are in a phase where we have started a major development project. Together with the group, group manager, and team leaders, we are conducting development work in new working methods and approaches. Group manager Åsa sees that the most important pieces to achieve high quality are the employees' opportunities to develop in their work as well as a good work environment.

We have a family-oriented approach where we systematically coordinate around families that are or may become relevant for support interventions. At the Care Unit in Nacka, we strive to work evidence-based.

Is this you?

You have good collaboration skills and place great importance on providing a good reception, both internally and externally. We constantly work for a good work environment and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability. You focus on the positive and doing a good job for those we are here for. The work is varied and requires an ability to be flexible and responsive to the individual’s needs.

Your experience:

Degree in social work.
Experience in authority exercise, preferably with the target group young adults.
You express yourself easily in speech and writing.
Good documentation skills.

Meritorious:

Knowledge of SoL, LVU, and LVM.
Training and experience of working with ASI, MI, Ungdok, and BBIC.
