JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently embarking on an exciting journey in our EHT work where we want to ensure good quality in the interventions we carry out for our students. It is about how we strategically and systematically work with student health and special educational interventions to provide the right support at the right time. Therefore, we want to expand the school's special educational team with special teachers who work closely with the school's special educator.

As a special teacher, your mission is to create the best possible conditions for learning through targeted interventions and extra support for our students. You will work with students individually, in smaller groups, or directly in the classroom. Your role also includes supporting teachers in pedagogical assessments, developing action plans, and contributing to the assessment of mathematical difficulties and reading and writing difficulties. You are part of the school's student health team.

Promoting an accessible learning environment and applying differentiated instruction is a natural part of your work as a teacher.

In addition, you are responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating the pedagogical work in accordance with the school's governing documents as well as the students' needs and interests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for one to two licensed teachers with special education training and experience in working with special educational interventions. You have a strong ability to plan, implement, follow up, and document both your support interventions and the students' knowledge development. Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position.

We assume that you are well versed in the school's governing documents and can translate these into practice.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with multicultural students.
• Experience using digital tools as these are a natural part of our operations.
• Experience teaching multilingual students.

You are confident and clear in your leadership role, have good communication skills, and are skilled at building relationships. The ability to collaborate, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach are crucial, as is the ability to work independently.

You have a clear value base where all people are seen as equally valuable. Your view of students is based on the belief that all children want and can succeed with the right support. You are proactive and collaborate with others to create a positive and developing climate, both among students and staff.
