Job Description

You will primarily work with instrumental teaching in piano. We view it positively if you have a broad genre as a pianist and piano teacher. The work takes place during the day as well as in the evening according to schedule. Weekend work may occur in connection with outward-facing events. You will work closely with other educators in all subjects at the Culture School. The tasks also include contacts with students, guardians, other activities at the Culture House Tio14, and organizing and creating conditions for student concerts. Holiday activities are part of the culture school's offerings, and we see it as positive if you want to be involved in developing this.

Qualifications

For the role, the following is required:

• Relevant education for piano pedagogue
• Pedagogical experience and experience as a piano teacher

Personal Qualities

In the role of educator, you should be attentive in meeting children and young people. You have good leadership skills and a strong focus on students. You have the ability to communicate with students actively to meet them and their interests. Furthermore, you can be both independent and a team member in your work. As a person, you also dare to take on challenges and try new things. Organizing projects and emphasizing the participation of young people is not foreign to you.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in teaching with young children and students who have advanced in their musical development
• Experience in educational activities from the Culture School or another form of school
• Experience in projects and knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its function
• Experience in a secondary instrument or another subject that can complement the content of the position
• Experience in leading groups/ensembles in different genres

Terms of Employment

The position is a part-time temporary position (60% vacation service) during the period 20250107-20250618 with teaching primarily on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Entry on 20250107 or by agreement.
