About the Role

As a primary school teacher for grades 4–6 with a focus on Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language/Social Studies, preferably combined with additional subject competencies, you take an active responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching. You contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment and collaborate closely with colleagues, student welfare, and parents to create the best conditions for each student. With your commitment and curiosity at the center, you have the opportunity to drive development-oriented work together.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching with the support of current technology and pedagogical methods
• Strengthen a safe and inspiring learning environment that encourages both collaboration and independence
• Work collegially to develop teaching and share your experiences
• Document students' knowledge development clearly and systematically
• Build good relationships and engage in close dialogue with parents and student welfare

Qualifications

• Teaching certification and subject qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language/Social Studies for grades 4–6
• Experience in primary school operations and a strong interest in continued professional development
• Ability to create clear, inclusive learning environments where students feel seen and heard
• A positive view of humanity and a habit of preventing and handling conflicts constructively
• Accuracy, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to each student's individual conditions
• Good teamwork skills, where you appreciate working in close teams and contribute to an open, supportive work environment

Possibility of Lead Teacher Assignment

At Solviksskolan, the number of lead teacher positions is now being expanded. A lead teacher assignment runs for three years and entails a salary supplement of 10,000 SEK per month during the current academic year (the Swedish National Agency for Education makes an annual assessment of the school's funding eligibility). Both existing and new staff have the opportunity to apply for this assignment. Interviews and lesson observations are conducted in the process. Terms of Employment

Permanent full-time position, with entry by agreement.
