We are looking for a qualified crafts teacher for Svärdsjö School!
Svärdsjö School is an F-9 school with approximately 450 students, about half of whom are in grades 7-9. At Svärdsjö School, we work to create a safe learning environment where knowledge, commitment, and collaboration permeate our work. The goal is for all students who graduate from Svärdsjö School to be independent and able to take responsibility for their future.

Job Responsibilities
You will teach crafts in grades 3-9. You are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your teaching in relation to the students' learning and the school's curriculum. You will be part of a team and are expected to collaborate with your colleagues to develop teaching and stimulate students' knowledge acquisition and goal achievement. You work for a good learning and working environment and actively participate in the school's development work. The position also includes mentoring in grade 7.
Qualifications
For this role, the following is required:
- Teacher education with qualification in crafts
- Teaching license
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is confident and clear in their leadership and professional role, takes responsibility, is attentive, and works in an individualized manner. You also have the ability to establish good student and parent contacts. You are communicative and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a good working atmosphere in meetings with both colleagues and school management. You want to develop the crafts subject based on our new design and construction room together with your crafts colleague.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working with students in need of special support
- Experience in pedagogical development work
- Experience in interdisciplinary work
