About the Preschool

The preschool in Gagnef is characterized by closeness and a secure organization.

We have a joint goal-setting process and structured professional development with networks for both preschool teachers and childcare workers. We regularly conduct training in CPR for all staff. The preschool in Gagnef has two special educators and two pedagogical supervisors for developmental support. All our employees have work clothes for both indoor and outdoor use.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a preschool teacher for an older children's department at Bäsna preschool. Bäsna preschool consists of three departments and is close to natural areas. The preschool is characterized by collaboration and a clear child focus. As a preschool teacher in Bäsna, you will have the opportunity to work in a newly built preschool, as a new construction of the preschool and school is currently underway, expected to be completed by the end of 2025-2026.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment, so that children feel curiosity and a desire to learn. You lay the foundation for lifelong learning. You plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate education together with colleagues based on the preschool's curriculum. You contribute to creating a holistic approach to children's learning through play, creativity, influence, and interaction with colleagues. Collaboration with parents is an important part of the work.

Qualifications

You are a licensed preschool teacher, preferably with experience in preschool work. You have knowledge of the preschool curriculum, basic IT skills, and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Training in TAKK, ICDP, NTA, and Läslyftet is an advantage. Knowledge in outdoor pedagogy, understanding the significance of learning environments for children's development, drama, music, and norm-critical work is also meritorious.

As a person, you are proactive and work well with others. You have good pedagogical insight and the ability to maintain a holistic perspective. You are willing to share ideas and new approaches, and you remain calm under pressure.

Conditions

100% permanent position with start date 2025-03-17. A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record must be presented before employment.
