JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual and family care services in Malung-Sälen are gathered under the social committee, including financial support, substance abuse for adults, children and family, and assistance. The operation consists of a staff group of 26 employees, with an open and pleasant climate where it is natural for us to help and support each other within and between groups. Together, we create pathways for further development and knowledge exchange.

We are looking for two social workers for children and youth, who will be part of a workgroup consisting of five social workers. The closest colleagues are reception secretaries, family law secretaries, and a foster care secretary under a common coordinator.

As a social worker with us, you will work with authority exercise. Your tasks include investigating, assessing, making decisions, and following up on interventions in relevant areas according to current legislation in a legally secure manner. Structured interventions in the form of placements, preventive work, and work towards our outpatient care are also important parts of your tasks. The work requires a high degree of legal security and efficiency in handling and involves collaboration with both internal and external parties.

Your main task will be to handle investigations and interventions for children aged 0-17 based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) and other relevant legal areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for individuals with a degree in social work in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines SOSFS 20014:7 for work with children and youth. You should have knowledge of current social legislation, preferably with work experience in social services. We offer our newly hired employees an introductory program with mentorship. You should also be able to express yourself easily in speech and writing, take initiative, and be responsive to both your colleagues and those you meet in your service.

We prefer that you are flexible, have analytical skills, and can focus easily. You are responsible, proactive, and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues in the workgroup. As a person, you are flexible, structured, service-oriented, and have a respectful approach.

You should enjoy a varied job and have good administrative skills. The work requires a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as computer skills. Legal security and good quality in your work are a given for you. When you work with us, you have great opportunities to influence and participate in the future development of the operations. You see the value in working network-based and are comfortable collaborating with other actors to create the best possible solutions. Experience or education in iRisk is an advantage.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Since travel is required in the position, a driver's license is a requirement.
