We at the Child and Youth Unit are looking for a senior case officer to join our friendly team.

With us, there is a mixed competence with both experienced and newly graduated social workers, as well as a management team with broad expertise and many years in the profession. Here you will be part of an engaged unit where we work to make a difference for children and youth in Hedemora municipality.

In addition to handling more complex cases, the position will involve providing support in case management for other social workers and being a co-case officer for newly graduated colleagues. The job responsibilities also include regular case management with children and youth aged 0-20 years, with a strong focus on local solutions and open interventions in line with the new Social Services Act.

The position will be filled if the necessary decisions are made.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and a genuine interest in working with children, youth, and families. Several years of experience in authority exercise in the area of children and youth is an advantage.

As a person, we see that you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You should enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience. You have the ability to work independently and feel confident in your case management. In your work, you are relationship-building. You need to have good collaborative skills and enjoy working with your own team, as well as with other organizations and authorities.

In the role of senior case officer, it is also important that you are flexible, can easily adapt to changing circumstances, and can adjust your working methods according to the needs and goals of the organization. You are self-driven and have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively.

As the work involves a lot of communication and documentation, it is a requirement that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Requirements

Degree in social work
Driver's license B for manual transmission
