JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual and family care in Malung-Sälen is gathered under the social board, including financial support, substance abuse/adults, children and family, and assistance. The operation consists of a staff group of 26 employees, with an open and friendly climate where it is natural for us to help and support each other within and between groups. Together we create pathways for further development and knowledge exchange.

We are looking for a social worker for the adult group with a focus on dependency and violence. You will be part of a workgroup consisting of two social workers focusing on dependency and violence, one intake secretary, one adult social worker, and three social workers within financial assistance under a common coordinator.

As a social worker with us, you will work with authority exercise primarily in the areas of harmful use, violence in close relationships, and social contracts. Your tasks include investigating, assessing, making decisions, and following up on interventions in relevant areas according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM) in a legally secure manner. Structured interventions in the form of placements, preventive work, and work towards our outpatient care are also important parts of your duties. The work requires a high degree of legal security and efficiency in handling and includes collaboration with both internal and external parties.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have a degree in social work or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of current legislation, preferably with work experience in social services. We would like you to be resilient and able to focus easily. You are responsible, proactive, and enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues in the workgroup. As a person, you are flexible, structured, service-oriented, and have a respectful approach.

You should enjoy a varied job and have good administrative skills. The work requires a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, as well as computer skills. Legal security and good quality in work are self-evident for you. When you work with us, you have great opportunities to influence and be involved in the future development of the operation. We are facing an exciting development where we are working together to implement the new Social Services Act, and we hope you feel inspired to help shape the future of social services with us. Experience of working according to national guidelines for substance abuse and training in ASI, SARA, or FREDA is advantageous.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Since travel is required in the position, a driver's license is a requirement.
