We are hiring

We are looking for an engaged and experienced social worker for the Children and Youth Unit to start immediately. As a social worker, you will work with authority exercise according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Special Provisions for the Care of Young People (LVU). You will handle cases concerning children and young people up to 18 years old, conduct investigations, and make decisions regarding the best interests of the child.

Responsibilities:

• Case management and authority exercise according to SoL and LVU
• Investigate, assess, and decide on cases concerning children and young people
• Collaborate with internal and external actors such as schools, police, and healthcare
• Documentation and follow-up according to applicable legislation
• Participate in workplace meetings and supervision

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent education
• At least 5 years of experience as a social worker in child and youth care
• Good knowledge and practical experience of working with SoL and LVU
• Ability to make well-founded decisions with the child's best interests in focus
• Good ability to document and express yourself in speech and writing
