Job Responsibilities

In your special education role, you will have an important role in preventive and promotional work. The work includes identifying opportunities and removing obstacles to students' learning. We see that you have an important role in driving development issues within the special education work at the school. Based on observations and mapping, you should be able to analyze at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You should feel confident in guiding educators. We assume that, based on your special education expertise, you are an important part of the student health work and assist the management in proposing appropriate measures based on your special education perspective.

It is advantageous if you are qualified to conduct ITPA.

Part of the work involves direct work with students in need of special support.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with the documentation process. The role includes supporting educators in making adaptations, establishing reception plans, educational investigations, follow-ups, and evaluations.

You need to feel confident in collaborating with external actors such as BUP, HAB, speech therapy clinics, and Social Services.

Qualifications

• You have appropriate education and certification as a special educator or special teacher
• Experience working in primary school
• You have good leadership qualities and create good learning environments for students
• You are comfortable guiding colleagues and have the skills to do so
• You have a positive view of people and an ability to build good relationships, as well as the ability to prevent and resolve conflicts
• You are thorough, flexible, and responsive to students' needs and enjoy working with students
• You meet all students based on their individual conditions
• You will work in a student health team where individual skill and ability to collaborate are equally important
