Strandskolan is a K-9 school located in central Idre, close to both mountains, lakes, and forests.

About 140 students attend our school. We have many elements of outdoor life in our teaching, such as mountain hiking, skiing, and overnight stays outdoors in winter. The school sports association is very active, and we participate in RF-SISU's Movement Initiative.

This is what you will be working with

You will work as a teaching assistant to a student in junior high school.

The assignment involves planning and leading all parts of the student's school day, both during lessons and breaks, together with the teacher.

In your work, you will have continuous contact with other colleagues in the school, guardians, and, if necessary, external actors, and you will contribute to creating, managing, and developing good relationships.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in the role of teaching assistant, we would like you to have education that the employer deems relevant for the assignment.

We are looking for someone who works well with other people, listens, communicates, and resolves conflicts constructively. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and remain motivated even when setbacks and disappointments occur in the role of teaching assistant.

In the work team, you contribute ideas and new approaches to work-related issues.

You have a good understanding of people's different conditions for absorbing new knowledge. You are calm and controlled in stressful situations and consider the best interests of the entire operation.

We see it as meritorious if you have knowledge of accessible learning environments and low-arousal behavior.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
