What does the position entail?

The working hours are during the day, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 08:00 to 17:00 - starting in March. The position begins with two fixed day shifts per week to create security and good personal acquaintance. When both the client and the assistant feel secure, there is an opportunity to gradually expand to full-day shifts on weekends and weekdays in consultation with the client and the operations manager.

As an assistant, you will be an important support in: • Household chores • Some personal hygiene (e.g., help with contact lenses) • Activities and participation outside the home • Support during epileptic seizures, including administering medication if needed

The woman may have several seizures per day at times and be completely seizure-free for several months in between. It is therefore important that you are attentive, calm, and secure in situations that may arise.

The work takes place in the client's home environment. The client is single and lives in an apartment in Gothenburg.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to: 

• Have very good Swedish in speech and writing

• Be responsible, cheerful, positive, and calm

• Be flexible and adaptable

• Have experience in personal assistance

• Tolerate pets

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time, two day shifts per week with the possibility of extension

Start date: Ongoing, schedule starts in March

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a potential employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
