Personal Assistant Wanted

I am a positive and social 25-year-old woman looking for a female personal assistant who wants to work days, evenings, weekends, and nights with sleeping duty (3.5 hours).

The working hours are varied and follow a rolling schedule, with an employment rate of approximately 50–75%.

About Me

I have a great interest in music and film, and I enjoy swimming and meeting friends. I live in my own apartment in Uddevalla and sometimes spend time at my parents' place in Ljungskile, where the workplace is located.

I have a CP disability and a significant need for care. You will assist me with care, tube feeding, training, and the use of my aids, such as a cough machine and Pari Boy. I thrive on clear routines – therefore, it is important that you do too.

I communicate using eye control, communication boards, and pictures, which means you need to be fluent in Swedish to interpret me in various situations. Computer skills are a plus.

About the Position

You will start as an hourly employee, with the possibility of a fixed-term contract if we get along – as long as the assignment lasts.

The working hours are days, evenings, weekends, and nights with sleeping duty of 3.5 hours, according to a rolling schedule.

The cooperative has a legacy from the Independent Living movement, which is based on the principle that those with disabilities know best how they want to live their lives. Normally, the person entitled to assistance is the closest supervisor of the assistants, or a person with special knowledge about the person entitled to assistance is appointed.
