Do you want to support people on their journey towards self-sufficiency? As a team leader in the Investigation Unit of the Employment Unit, you will play a key role in an engaged team where development, flexibility, and people's potential are in focus.

The Investigation Unit is part of the Employment Unit within the Social Administration of Vänersborg Municipality. We work to equip people who, for various reasons, are outside the labor market, through work training and assessment of work ability.

For us, change is a natural part of everyday life. We adapt our operations based on the participants' needs, and you will be an important part of developing and shaping the practical operations.

We offer employment in various forms – both for preparatory and investigative purposes. Participants come to us through employment consultants within guidance or establishment and may have experience of long-term unemployment, social assistance, disabilities, or other barriers to work.

Responsibilities

As a team leader, you have operational responsibility in our practical operations. You lead and participate in daily work and maintain close contact with the participants. Your tasks include:

• Leading the daily work in one or more of our practical operations (e.g., car wash, painting, café, packaging/assembly, furniture recycling, wallpapering).
• Guiding and supporting participants in performing tasks in a safe and meaningful way.
• Planning, structuring, and adapting work tasks based on participants' abilities.
• Documenting participants' work ability in the Lifecare journal system.
• Collaborating with employment consultants, occupational therapists, health instructors, and other colleagues.
• Being part of a team with three other team leaders where you collaborate and cover for each other as needed.

The work requires you to be present in the operations, flexible with changes, and engaged in finding solutions based on the needs of the target group.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license B for manual transmission.

Meritorious:

• Education in pedagogy, psychology, leadership, social work, or similar.
• Experience in leadership or guidance in learning contexts.
• Familiarity with documentation in social work or similar contexts.

Conditions

Temporary position until 2026-06-22 with start date 2026-02-23.
