Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work awake nights in personal assistance. As a personal assistant, you will support individuals in their daily lives, and your work will largely be independent alongside the individual in their environment. As a personal assistant, you work to create conditions and want to develop the individual's participation and independence in daily life. In your work, you provide support and services according to the individual's decisions and needs, as well as based on established implementation plans. You will work with social documentation according to the laws and guidelines in place. The personal assistant is guided by the individual's needs, which can vary. We work from a salutogenic approach - each individual develops their resources and a meaningful daily life.

Within the unit, there are support pedagogues and supervisors for assistance. We offer a good introduction, ongoing professional development, and actively work together to create a good work environment.

Personal suitability is crucial for the position, and to succeed as a personal assistant, we see that you have a user focus and a commitment to the target group.

Qualifications

For the job, you need to be secure in yourself. You have a genuine interest in working with people.

Being attentive and having a flexible approach is important in the role of a personal assistant, as is your ability to meet each person based on their conditions. The implementation plan, which focuses on the individual's needs, is our primary working tool, and as a personal assistant, you have great opportunities to adapt support for each individual. We expect you to feel comfortable taking responsibility.

We see that you have completed secondary education and have work experience. It is advantageous if you have prior experience working with the target group and relevant education for the position, such as nursing assistant, child and leisure program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

We naturally expect you to promote the individual's integrity, participation in daily life, and that your work is performed with respect for the user's self-determination.
