JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The LSS operations in Vårgårda Municipality are divided into two different units: Funktionsstöd 1 and Funktionsstöd 2. We are now looking for two employees at Funktionsstöd 2 who want to work as personal assistants with us.

As a personal assistant, you work to provide support to users with disabilities so that they can live as independently, safely, and meaningfully as possible. The work is based on the user's individual needs, wishes, and life situation and is carried out in the user's home. We are now looking for two calm, secure, and responsible employees who want to work with a 2-year-old child. The position involves awake night shifts at home.

Job Duties:

• Awake night shifts at home
• Supervision and monitoring
• Care and support as needed
• Ensure the child's safety and well-being during the night
• Collaboration with family and possibly care institutions

We are looking for someone who:

• Is calm, secure, and responsible
• Has a big heart and a good ability to work with small children
• Can work independently and be attentive during night shifts
• Experience in personal assistance, care, or working with children is an advantage, but personal suitability is the most important.

QUALIFICATIONS

Care and nursing education or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in personal assistance. It is an advantage if you have worked with children with care needs.

OTHER

In Vårgårda Municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time. Since full-time assignments are lacking, this means that positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
