JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of support assistant, you work in accordance with our pedagogical approach. We meet users who often have comorbidity, such as combinations of psychiatric diagnoses, neuropsychiatric disabilities, and cognitive difficulties. This places high demands on a safe and consistent working method where both low-arousal responses and a pedagogical value base are central parts. Our focus is on creating participation, strengthening abilities, and finding sustainable strategies for everyday life based on each individual's needs.

We work with individually adapted interventions, low-arousal approaches, and a safe, predictable environment to strengthen the residents' independence and well-being. As part of our team, you meet users in their daily lives and support them in everything from ADL tasks and social support to motivational work and coordination of interventions. The work takes place in a stable, solution-focused, and development-oriented environment together with engaged colleagues.

It is important that you as an employee are curious about finding tools that give users the opportunity to develop and feel involved. To be comfortable with the fact that this mapping is lifelong and constantly changing. The position includes promoting the development of the user's resources to provide the best possible conditions for an independent life with high quality of life. Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

• Trained support assistant, nursing assistant, or have other equivalent education.

Meritorious:

• Previous work experience from operations within LSS and working from a low-arousal approach.
• Well acquainted with digital platforms and have experience documenting in systems.
• B driver's license.

You have the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, and you adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation.

Communication with users, relatives, and colleagues occurs in an empathetic, attentive, and respectful manner. Just as you need to ensure that the user and relatives understand the information given, you also clearly show that you have understood the meaning of the information given by users, relatives, colleagues, and supervisors. To succeed in the role, you are secure in your personal values and the values the organization stands for.

You need to function well in challenging situations and maintain calmness and curiosity in all circumstances. You are a person who truly wants to make a difference for the individual, to be the tool for good living conditions. You are driven to find solutions and create development.
