Job Advertisement: Personal Assistant for Youth in Gothenburg

Are you attentive, flexible, and experienced in working with young people? Then this might be the job for you! We are now looking for new employees for our client who will start school in Gothenburg, a lovely 16-year-old boy who enjoys various activities.

What the Job Entails

The boy lives with his family in another location but will start school in Angered Gothenburg from autumn 2025. Near the school, he will live in an apartment that will also be your workplace. Your workplace may also be wherever he is, which could include other activities outside the home such as training or social activities. He enjoys gaming and working out at the gym. The job includes participating in all aspects of daily life such as personal care, meals, training, and leisure activities. The work involves lifting; aids are available, but it is an advantage if you are physically fit. Your role will also be to stimulate and motivate development through humor and activities.

Requirements

You who are applying should be a young girl or boy (you must be at least 18 years old) who is secure and stable in yourself. To thrive in the assignment, we see that you are a positive and secure team player who enjoys collaborating but can also take responsibility. It is important that you are flexible and understand that the work is based on the client's specific needs. You have experience in personal assistance or similar care work. It is also a merit if you have studied healthcare or have previously worked with children or young people. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required for communication with our client and for documentation in the service.

• Part-time evening and night shifts.
• Hourly employment as needed. Opportunity to plan shifts a few weeks in advance.
• Working hours according to the schedule are afternoons, evenings, and nights on weekdays. Working hours approximately 14:00-22:00 or 14:00-08:00 with sleeping on duty.
• Start immediately or as agreed.
• You will receive an introduction and the opportunity to shadow an experienced assistant.
• Since Kooperativet Olja is based in Jönköping, we will have an initial meeting via Teams.
