The Social Administration is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercises for children, youth, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

We are now looking for a case officer for AST and Prevention to the Social Administration in Huddinge municipality. The position is full-time, permanent, with a start date to be agreed upon.
Operational description
The Assistance and Prevention section consists of a total of three units: AST and prevention, LSS-children and Youth, and LSS-Adult. The AST and prevention unit consists of four case officers, one family coordinator, one family consultant, two outreach workers, and one coordinator. One of our employees is moving on to new challenges, and we are now looking for a driven and committed case officer who wants to be part of our team!
The AST and prevention unit is responsible for preventive work and, based on applicable legislation, investigating and deciding on interventions within the disability area. The office is centrally located in Huddinge center, close to restaurants, commuter trains, and bus stations. The goal is a legally secure authority exercise with good service and high quality. About the work
The AST group is responsible for investigating and deciding on interventions according to two legal frameworks, LSS and the Social Services Act (SoL). The target group is individuals aged 18-64 with an autism diagnosis without concurrent intellectual disabilities. As a case officer in the AST group, you will investigate interventions such as housing support, assistance from a contact person, daily activities, and housing with special services. As an employee with us, you are expected to participate in the unit's development work, which may involve improving or suggesting new working methods, introducing new routines, and contributing to professional development.
The work is independent and requires the ability to make your own decisions. You have your own delegation on several interventions. The role includes making decisions, conducting regular follow-ups, and ensuring that the right decisions are made at the right time. For support in daily work, there are colleagues, managers, and a legal advisor. Every week, case drawing meetings are held where you have the opportunity to discuss various issues and cases with your closest colleagues. We also offer external supervision.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has another relevant university degree that the employer assesses as equivalent. To be successful as a case officer, you need to be stable and secure in yourself, contribute to a good collaborative climate, and be empathetic and clear in your interactions with users. It is also important that you have good judgment and that you drive your work in a structured and independent manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Qualifications
- Degree in social work or another relevant academic degree
- Good computer skills and the ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Structured and clear, with the ability to organize and prioritize work
- Good knowledge of applicable legislation and familiarity with the disability area
Meritorious
- Experience of authority exercise
- Experience in social work within the disability area
- Experience in visual communication, documentation in Lifecare/Procapita, and investigation methodology IBIC
- A driving license (B) is a significant advantage
