Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside supportive colleagues who want to make a difference today. Right now, one of the most ambitious transformation efforts in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, about 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on our journey.

Your mission
We are now looking for a SiG coordinator who works therapeutically and coordinatively with children/youth and adults with criminal or norm-breaking behavior, aiming to contribute to a lifestyle-behavior change.

The form of the intervention will be flexible to best suit the client's needs. The intervention is provided as a voluntary outpatient service or after a sentence within the framework of the social intervention group. This means that you need to work on alliance-building while maintaining clear professionalism and structure. You need to be active and creative to best adapt the support to the youth/adult and their family. It is also expected that you will lead the preparation group together with the other coordinators. We often collaborate with other partners, so great importance is placed on cooperation. We work in a team-based manner within outpatient care where the SiG intervention is often combined with other outpatient services. Community service is included as an intervention with us. You will be part of the social intervention group, which currently consists of 5 coordinators and one guide.

The target group for SiG is children, youth, and adults at high risk for norm-breaking, criminal behavior or individuals who want to leave a criminal lifestyle and who are assessed to have a significant need for coordination between, for example, social services, police, psychiatry, schools, and more. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the above-mentioned actors. We work knowledge-based and structured with the target group based on the principles of RBM (risk, need, and receptivity) and with Turning Points (criminality programs) as well as FFT and Repulse. To break a negative development, the content of our interventions must explicitly focus on the risk factors that are believed to maintain the client's norm-breaking behavior and target all risk areas. We follow the research available in the field and work, among other things, with the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines for work with social intervention groups.

We have good cooperation with the police, schools, leisure, psychiatry, and others in the municipality, and we have a well-established working model for the work with SiG, which takes place at three different levels (governance, preparation, operational level) in the municipality where all relevant departments are represented.

The position is a temporary position until 2026-12-31

What we are looking for in you
- We are looking for someone with knowledge of social problems, the structure of crime, and other societal phenomena related to crime
- Suitable educational background is a social worker or other equivalent higher education of at least 120 higher education credits
- You should have experience working both independently and in teams with other actors and be driven to support people in changing to an independent life
- Previous experience working with the target group in outpatient care and/or with authority exercise is a requirement
- You should have knowledge of applicable legislation and guidelines in the area
- Training in FFT or Repulse is an advantage
- You should have a driver's license

It is important that you are driven and see opportunities for development and are flexible. You have good communication and collaboration skills, are used to working independently, and have the ability to take your own initiatives. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and be flexible in your work. Work may occur outside of office hours depending on the assignment.

A background check will be conducted before hiring.

What we can offer you
A developing job in a very experienced workgroup. You will work and be introduced to the role alongside knowledgeable colleagues and experienced managers. The workgroup has supervision once a month.

We who work here are knowledgeable and engaged in our work and care for each other and maintain a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal certainty, and we think it is important to develop in our work. As an employee of Haninge municipality, we care about your work environment and therefore ensure that you are involved in the processes and decisions related to your daily work. We are constantly working to make Haninge municipality a workplace where people thrive, and therefore your thoughts and improvement suggestions are welcome. As part of our work environment efforts, we value proximity to the nearest manager, an established structure for regular support such as check-ins and external supervision, specialist social workers with an organization-wide mission in areas such as methodological support, implementation, and recurring training, as well as a business developer to support our continued development with a target group-focused working method. Finally, we have a structure to enable remote work for those who wish and based on the needs of the organization.

We are located in pleasant office premises with good parking opportunities and proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, and natural areas as well as to Handen's commuter train station. We have free access to the gym in the municipal building, wellness grants, annual working hours, and the possibility of vacation exchange and days off on bridge days.
