The role of a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you represent Hela Sveriges Assistans. In this role, you will complete an online training about what it is like to work as a personal assistant. You will work together with the client and your colleagues to ensure good quality and follow the company's values and policies.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for receiving information sent out by the head office and, if necessary, seeking information available on the website. For other questions, you turn to your supervisor or the head office.

About your role as a personal assistant with me

I am a 63-year-old woman who is very social. I am a positive, outgoing, and a bit quirky person who laughs easily.

I live in a house in Riala and have been here for almost 15 years. My interests are many and vary from training, interior design, dog (currently taking courses in drug and weapon search), cooking and baking. I enjoy traveling for adventures now and then, and I also do crafts like woodworking.

I have congenital injuries caused by thalidomide and move around in a wheelchair. This has not stopped me from living the life I want. I have never hesitated to try things that I see as challenges. I am stubborn and persistent, which I believe is essential to fulfill what I want to do.

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who shares the same interests, is outgoing, cheerful, and flexible enough to join me on my crazy adventures.

I have many interests and constantly come up with new projects. I value humor, positivity, attentiveness, and the ability to take initiative.

I prefer that you are between 35-55 years old. Due to the nature of the work, it is important that you are physically healthy. You must have a driver's license and access to your own car as public transport to my home is poor. It is also important that you are not allergic since I have both a dog and a cat.

What does the work schedule look like?

Varied hours both weekdays and weekends. Days and evenings. The model is every other week.

We are currently looking for a colleague for part-time work in a permanent position with a workload of about 50%

The client is also the supervisor. In daily work, there are job descriptions and routines to follow, and what we do beyond that during the day is guided by daily conditions, wishes, and needs.

Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract/digital mailbox from the police's criminal record. We also request a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new employees complete an online introductory training for personal assistants before their first working day or no later than one month after starting employment.
