Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• Wants to work with a 33-year-old man living in Norrby

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• is smoke-free

• has good physical condition and can perform transfers in the job

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in personal assistance or similar work,

• have experience with a ventilator

• have a driver's license and access to a car

• share the client's interests, which include 50s cars and ice hockey, with the favorite team Djurgården.

• are accustomed to working awake at night

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". The position encompasses approximately 48% and pertains to active nights.

The working hours follow a rolling 4-week schedule with both weekday and weekend shifts. You will work a total of 6 nights per month according to the following example:

Week 1: Off

Week 2: Wednesday 8:00 PM–9:00 AM

Week 3: Thursday 8:00 PM–9:00 AM and Friday 8:00 PM–9:00 AM

Week 4: Friday 8:00 PM–9:00 AM, Saturday 8:00 PM–9:00 AM, and Sunday 8:00 PM–9:00 AM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
