Personal Assistant Needed for 10-Year-Old Boy – Start February 1

We are now looking for an experienced, secure, and stable personal assistant for an 11-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. He enjoys playing the piano, has an interest in music, and likes to talk.

The boy may exhibit outwardly aggressive behaviors and therefore needs an adult who is calm, fearless, and has a good ability to work with low-affect responses. The work primarily takes place in the boy's home, where he lives with his mother and father in a small apartment.

You will be an important part of his daily life and work closely with the family to create structure, security, and predictability. Employment starts on February 1, and you will receive training so that you can gradually get to know the boy, the routines, and the working methods.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children with autism and/or intellectual disabilities
• Is secure, stable, and emotionally calm even in challenging situations
• Is good at coming up with activities, has a good imagination, and a creative side
• Has knowledge of and practical experience in low-affect responses
• Is fearless, patient, and clear in your approach
• Has good collaboration skills and respect for the family's integrity

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the boy in daily activities
• Create structure, predictability, and security
• Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Work closely with the parents

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and previous experience.
