About the Position

The work involves tasks as a support assistant. We place great emphasis on guiding and strengthening each individual's ability to live independently through our pedagogical work. In the unit, you will work with users who have developmental disabilities/autism. Working hours are scheduled for day/morning/evening/weekend/night. Placement is in Norrtälje. We are looking for substitutes during the period of June-August. The scope of employment is full-time/part-time by agreement.

We conduct interviews and recruit continuously during the advertising period. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Your tasks include:

In your role, you will support the user based on their implementation plan, individual needs, and wishes. Furthermore, it may include care work and supporting the individual in social contexts, pedagogical guidance, documentation, and delegated care interventions. The role also includes contact with the user's network and specific tasks related to the operation.

About You

For this position, you need:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Extract from the criminal record.
• Good digital competence, i.e., technical knowledge and skills required to handle various computer programs such as journal systems, communication systems, and the Office package.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• High school education from the healthcare and nursing program, child and leisure program, or other equivalent education that the employer considers relevant.
• Experience working within LSS.
• Driver's license for manual car and driving experience.
• Specialized skills for the specific operation.
• Knowledge of various functional variations such as autism/NPF/IF.
• Good knowledge of low-arousal approaches and attitudes.
• Knowledge in AAC - Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
• Experience working with individuals who have challenging behaviors.

As you will be replacing regular staff, we see that you are self-sufficient and can ask for help when needed.
