Personal Assistants Needed

We are currently looking for two personal assistants for a wheelchair-bound man. You who are applying should be secure, attentive, and enjoy working closely with another person in daily life. We prefer female applicants.

As a personal assistant, you are an extended arm in daily life and support in what is needed for life to run smoothly – at home and in everyday activities. This role is suitable for you who are responsible, can work independently, and have an easy time creating good cooperation.

About the Job

The tasks consist of regular duties within personal assistance, focusing on support in basic needs and daily routines, such as:

• assistance with hygiene, dressing and undressing
• transfers and support at home
• help during meals and everyday chores
• accompanying during errands/activities as needed

You will work closely with the user, who communicates independently, and the support is shaped together based on daily needs.

Reptiles – an Important Requirement

A major interest in the home is reptiles and amphibians. There are both frogs and lizards, and therefore it is a requirement that you:

• are comfortable being in environments where these animals are present
• can provide practical support in handling/care (according to instructions)
• are not afraid/allergic in a way that hinders the work

If you also have a personal interest in reptiles, it is a big plus.

Working Hours and Position

Mainly day and evening shifts
Extent: approx. 75%
Start date no later than February 1

We are looking for someone who

• is calm, responsible, and has good integrity
• can work independently and take initiative when needed
• is attentive and respectful
• preferably has experience in personal assistance (but this is not a requirement – the right person is the most important)
