About the position

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the important pre- and post-operative care of our patients. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your competence in internal medicine, in addition to our core area of orthopedics, as many of our patients also have internal medical conditions. We value a good work environment and offer an introduction tailored to your previous experiences. With us, all employees are involved in the work of developing and improving both work methods and the operations of the department. You will become an important part of our team that together creates a stimulating and developing work climate. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for sixteen care places and work in three care teams.

Within the clinic, there are also good development opportunities for your role. The orthopedic clinic in Västervik offers an almost complete range of acute and elective orthopedic healthcare and has a regional responsibility for shoulder surgery. The clinic consists of a care department and an outpatient clinic, and about 60 employees work here.

Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with maternity care and a maternity ward. At Västervik Hospital, there are jobs for those who want to develop in their role alongside friendly colleagues. Here, over 1200 employees work, and we have a strong sense of community and a broad competence. The hospital is of a manageable size, and you will have a secure and pleasant employment with the opportunity to learn new things.
