We are now seeking a secure and dedicated nurse for the LARO (medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence) clinic in Kalmar! Here you will work in modern, newly built facilities while having a deeply meaningful and developing job that truly makes a difference!

The LARO clinic is part of adult psychiatry's outpatient care in Kalmar.

Here you will work alongside engaged colleagues, such as nurses, social workers, and doctors, who value a work environment where we support each other. We meet patients in various life situations who live with opioid dependence, often in combination with psychiatric comorbidity.

Your tasks will include conducting assessments, treatment, and follow-ups, which will take place both independently and in collaboration with others. Our goal at LARO is to stabilize the patient's life through medication combined with psychosocial support, to reduce harmful use, improve health, and function better in society. To achieve our goal, we often collaborate with relatives, other parts of psychiatry, social services, the correctional services, the social insurance agency, and the employment agency.

About you

We are looking for a licensed nurse. A specialist education in psychiatry and/or work experience in psychiatry and/or addiction care is advantageous. You are secure in your role as a nurse, conveying both trust and clarity to patients. Furthermore, you have the ability to meet patients with a low-arousal approach.

You will work in newly built and modern facilities specially designed for specialist psychiatry. These facilities promote effective coordination within psychiatric services and offer a pleasant environment for you, with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view of Kalmarsund and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 care places and about 230 employees. Here, there are three inpatient wards and two outpatient clinics.
